There’s a quick link to Quick Notes on the notebook list at left, below the ribbon. New Quick Notes are saved as a “Quick Notes” section in the default notebook. You can copy Quick Notes to other sections or notebooks or copy pages TO the Quick Notes section. The notes in that section aren’t different or special. ![]() Quick Notes is just another section in a notebook. There’s nothing really special about Quick Notes except the way they can be made in OneNote for Windows. If necessary, force a sync at File | Info | View Sync Status | Sync Now or Sync All. Make a Quick Note, paste/type in whatever you want and it’ll sync between your devices. On an iPad with an Apple Pencil, you can take handwritten notes, draw freehand, and use the ruler to make perfectly straight lines. Tap on the pen icon at the bottom of the screen and use the various pens and other tools to write and draw. I often need to copy a complex Wifi password around my devices, to save retyping all those letters, numbers and symbols. You can use the markup tools in a note to scribble and draw on an iPhone or iPad. That’s handy when you need to copy some text or image between computers. Open the browser and click the Share button that’s to the right of the URL bar. ![]() See tags in the Tag Browser in the Notes app sidebar. Quick Notes also lets you add URL links from Safari, so if Safari is your browser, you can make use of this feature. (Image credit: iMore) Click the return key or spacebar to create the tag. Add any text youd like to the Quick Note, then tap Save. ![]() You will now see Add to New Quick Note in your Share Sheet The content you selected will be added to a new Quick Note. OneNote will sync your Quick Notes across all your devices, if it’s connected to the internet, you can access the same notes on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. To create a new tag in the Notes app on Mac, open the Notes app, then create a new note or open an existing one. Under Other Actions, tap the green plus next to Add to New Quick Note.
